2010 Friends Chapter Conference - SAVE My State Parks & Historic Sites

Registration for our 2010 Friends Chapter Conference is now open!

Our 2010 Friends Chapter Conference, "SAVE My State Parks & Historic Sites" is being co-hosted by Friends and the Parks, Recreation & Historic Sites Division of DNR. We are looking forward to a great conference and hope to see representatives from every chapter.

Please make plans to attend to learn about fund raising, volunteer management, advocacy and much more. Chapter funds may be used to cover the cost of attendance by your chapter representatives.

The conference will begin on Friday, January 29 at 2:00 PM and will conclude after lunch on Sunday, January 31. DNR Staff will also be invited to attend the conference so it will provide a great opportunity for networking with other sites and learning about new ways to help support your site.

All chapters are encouraged to send at least two representatives to the conference. The conference will be held at Unicoi State Park & Lodge. (Click here for a map and directions)
